Race and sport: Every winner of the 100 meter final at the World Athletics Championships since the inaugural event in 1983 has been black

The BBC tries to argue that race has nothing to do with black successes in sports because only a minority of blacks are really good athletes. All they really end up proving is that ethnicity is an even more important factor than race in determining success in a particular area. For example, the best sprinters in the world come from a part of Kenya's Rift Valley called Nandi. It is likely that the people of Nandi have a genetic profile that is not the same as other Kenyans.
