10 men have died in an attack on a bar in the Mexican resort city of Acapulco, which also left 4 people injured

According to the Public Security Ministry of the Mexican state of Guerrero, several armed attackers arrived at the Las Nenas bar, in the Las Cruces neighborhood, and opened fire on customers. Police received an anonymous call, and when officers arrived at the bar they found the bodies of the victims. They were all aged 25 to 45 and had bullet wounds to the head and the upper body. The attackers, who were yet to be identified, fled the scene. The authorities did not immediately know whether the attack was aimed at the owners of the bar or at some of the customers. Mexico has experienced a surge in violence linked to organized crime in recent years, with more than 15,000 people killed in 2010 alone.
